FlexBooker, a website used to book travel accommodations, was digitally breached in December 2021. A group of hackers who call their online criminal collective the “Uawrongteam” slithered its way into the web-based booking platform, stealing the information of three million individuals.
The data was stolen and posted to internet message boards frequented by hackers. The information stolen in the attack ranges from customer names and driver's license images/information to passwords.
